In response, we propose a fundamental optimization of waste collection logistics by leveraging real-time data and AI (Artificial Intelligence).

Solution Overview: We aim to introduce a system where AI automatically creates optimal dispatch plans based on the volume of accumulated waste. By integrating this system with GPS tracking and managing operational information in real time, we maximize transport efficiency.

Improving Urban Waste Collection Efficiency by Establishing Transfer Stations

With urban development, final waste disposal sites tend to be located in remote suburban areas. It is inefficient for small collection vehicles to make long round trips from the city center, as this worsens traffic congestion and is costly in terms of fuel and CO2 emissions.
To solve this problem, we are promoting a new collection model that utilizes "transfer stations."

Solution Overview: We promote a model that establishes waste transfer stations between urban areas and final disposal sites, where waste is compressed and consolidated before long-distance transport. This helps reduce the total number of collection vehicles and contributes to lowering CO2 emissions.

How the System Works

This model optimizes the entire process from collection to disposal by separating "primary logistics" and "secondary logistics."

Support for Compliance with Vietnam's EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) Law

Based on the 2020 Law on Environmental Protection, Vietnam has introduced an EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) scheme, which obligates manufacturers and importers of subject products and packaging to be responsible for their recycling or disposal. The regulations have been progressively strengthened; in addition to packaging and batteries from January 2024, electrical and electronic products were also included from January 1, 2025.
However, complying with EPR presents a significant challenge for many companies. This is due to issues such as "inefficient collection systems and a lack of infrastructure," "increased recycling costs due to an underdeveloped culture of waste separation," and "the burden of navigating complex legal regulations and administrative procedures."

Solution Overview

To solve these challenges, we are developing an efficient platform that allows multiple manufacturers to fulfill their EPR obligations jointly. This eliminates the burden on individual companies to invest in infrastructure or develop systems alone, enabling low-cost and reliable legal compliance.
